To enable Guadeloupe, to be officially represented in the international structure, the creation of a committee of local GOPIO islands of Guadeloupe was decided Jan. 8, 2009, as an association under the law 1901.
It is declared that the Sub Prefecture Pointe a Pitre February 27, 2009 under No. 9712008559. Its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic dated May 23, 2009.

  • To promote the Indian diaspora of Guadeloupe, nationally and internationally through cultural, economic actions, educational, social, humanitarian.
  • Promote by all means of expression and communication, meetings and exchanges between the Indian diaspora of Guadeloupe and the rest of the world
  • Organize or help organize any event or event within the scope of the object of the association.

The fight against isolation and exclusion are also the objectives of GOPIO-GUADELOUPE.

GOPIO-GUADELOUPE is a member of the Executive Committee of the GOPIO-INTERNATIONAL.
